Visual TTABLE Professional: About the Software

Management of Time-Table for an institute is always a critical job, wherein it is utmost necessary that the periods are allocated to teachers and classes in a manner that fulfills several and, sometimes, stringent requirements. Some institutes work on 6 days a week and 8 periods in a day with only 1 recess, while others work on 5 days in a week and 9 periods in a day with 2 recesses. Some even work for 10 periods a day with 3 recesses. Average load per teacher varies from a few periods to as high as 36 periods in a week. There are groups of classes taken together. Some classes are grouped together and then attended to by a group of teachers. Some classes are split into two, three or four labs. Some classes are held in special rooms.

The concept, the design and development of Visual TTABLE take care of all such important requirements of institutions. Time-Table can now be prepared with all your conditions fulfilled. Visual TTABLE has been designed to be transparent. It provides for all possible combinations and is equipped with all tools that you may need to specify your custom requirements.

It accommodates parallel teachers and/or common (combined) classes, simultaneous allocations, two consecutive classes, laboratory periods, fixed test periods and many more.

TIME REQUIRED TO MAKE TIME-TABLE USING Visual TTABLE
[Based on Pentium IV 160 GB Hard Disk and 1 GB RAM]

Time required for making Time-Table with the help of Visual TTABLE is discussed below.

  • Data Entry with Class-wise, subject-wise Data Validation: Time taken to complete this activity depends upon the number of teachers and the pace of Data Entry Operator. On an average, it may take a minute for each Weekly Work Load Table or Assignment Table or Distribution Table.
  • Allocation (Custom and Auto): The time for this activity depends upon the number of teachers. User input shows that an allocation takes about a minute per distribution table per round. Auto-allocation takes about 3 seconds per teacher on an average. The time taken for readjustment depends upon complexity of the allocations and the load per teacher. In most of the cases Optimisation takes about 30 seconds per shortfall, depending upon the pace of the user. Visual TTABLE may be installed on a computer with best configuration.
