Significant brought out the Windows
Version of TTABLE, namely, Visual TTABLE Professional 2006 in December 2006.
However, the version shipped today is the Visual TTABLE Professional 2009. All
TTABLE Licensees are advised to go in for the Windows version. It offers the
following advantages over the DOS Version:
1.
The
DOS Version could give the printer output only through the parallel port. The
Windows Version will print the reports on any printer installed on the computer
system through windows.
2.
The
Distribution Groups in one Distribution Table have been enhanced from 16 to 30.
3.
There
are several reports for teachers’ workload, distribution summary, allocation
pattern etc.
4.
The
allocation and the reallocation engines have been completely revised and enhanced.
5.
The
windows version is much more user friendly with more convenient presentations.
6.
The
Printer output has been standardized to A-4 size paper.
7.
The
Master Teacher and Class Time Tables can be saved as an MS Excel File

DISTRIBUTE
1. The Interface
for editing of the Distribution data has been redesigned with a view to making
it extremely simple.
2. The facility
to show partial list of teachers and workload summary has been modified to read
as “Show Only Class Teachers”, “Show Only Not Class Teachers” and “Show Al
Teachers”
ALLOCATE
3. Allocation
has been modified to do Auto-Allocation for only a particular subject. The
‘Select Parameters for Auto Allocation’ now includes an option to select a
subject for auto-allocation besides other parameters.
MASTER TIME
TABLE
4. The Master
Time Table for teachers and that for Class can be printed in any color of
choice. An option to “Change Color” of the allocations for different teachers /
days has been added for both the Teachers’ Master Time Table and Classes’
Master Time Table.
REARRANGEMENT
5. The custom
rearrangement has been modified to display two tables, showing allocations of
the absent teacher in one table and the substitute teacher to attend to absent
teacher’s class in the second table. Both the tables can be viewed
simultaneously. The user can edit either table for custom optimization and also
use the auto fill facility for the substitute teacher selected for the absent
teacher’s class.
